Hi, I’m Arjun — Founder of Study Happy.

I believe every child deserves the chance to succeed in Maths and in their education. For me, that belief comes from my own school experience. It only took one tutor — and one simple phrase, “I will, not I wish” — to completely change how I thought about my education and my future.

That mindset, combined with the high-quality teaching I received from a subject expert who was also relatable and motivational, gave me the tools I needed to succeed in school. It opened doors I never thought possible and shaped the life I have today.

​

That experience is why I became a secondary school Maths teacher, and ultimately why I created Study Happy: to inspire thousands of students to believe that they, too, can achieve in Maths.

​

My journey into education began after studying  Accounting and Finance at the University of Warwick having achieved AAA at A level. While I enjoyed working with numbers, I knew I wanted something more — to make a difference. I joined the Teach First programme, dedicating myself to reducing educational inequality in the UK. Since then, I’ve taught in a range of schools, led departments, and worked with students who have often felt left behind by the system.

Along the way, I’ve become a qualified maths teacher and now a Lead Practitioner of Maths. I’ve completed National Professional Qualifications (NPQLT, NPQLTD, and currently NPQSL), presented evidence-based strategies across whole schools, and attended national conferences on education. But no matter how far I’ve come professionally, my mission has never changed: to break down the barriers that stop students from reaching their full potential and to help them build happy, fulfilled lives.

And that’s what Study Happy is all about.

​

The name reflects my belief that learning should be a positive, empowering experience. Too many young people approach Maths with fear, frustration, or the belief that “it’s not for them.” Study Happy exists to rewrite that story — to show students that with the right support, they can feel confident, capable, and even enjoy the process of learning.

​

Through Study Happy, I’ve designed tutoring that is both high-quality and accessible:

• 1-to-1 Tutoring with me (£30/hour) — personalised, focused support tailored to each child.

• £5 Group Sessions every weekend — exam paper run-throughs in a supportive, collaborative setting.

​

Because Study Happy is about more than grades. It’s about building confidence, inspiring belief, and helping students discover their potential. Success isn’t only measured in exam results — it’s in those moments when a student smiles because they’ve cracked a problem, walks into a lesson without fear, or begins to believe in themselves again.

Study Happy is more than tutoring. It’s a promise: that every student, no matter their background, can learn maths with confidence, positivity, and joy.
